Not naming names but I personally knew one ex-Miller who passed away following dementia and three others who are now poorly with it. And that is from a small sample size. There are so many ex footballers with this issue, unfortunately, and an avalanche of them yet to come. It’s a real tragedy. The work that Breck does with the Memory Club and generally for the club and the town is remarkable. He doesn’t do it for reward, but he is a real hero.
