May was crap but July is better

What a difference a few months make. In May, I got made redundant, Villa failed to show up again in an FA Cup Final and the landlady told us she was selling the house we were living in. Two months later and we have just moved into another and better property with a cheaper rent, I've been offered a full time job (subject to a medical) and Villa have seemingly signed some decent players for the new season (with hopefully more to come).

It doe's not always seem that way at the time but when you look back its Yesssssssssss.

I have to ask, what kind of employer/job requires you having a medical other than professional athelete ?

Pole dancers need to be in tip top shape to get up and down those poles.

cheers all for good wishes everyone. Rosetta that cracked me up. VOTN - bus drivers have to have a medical to make sure they don't have any heart defects etc. Pole dancing was next on my list of job applications funnily enough Bodybutter. Yeah Clive I have already been told I have to treat her to a meal out once I've passed my training and I'm earning a higher wage. It'll be nice to be doing a 40hr week again, last job was only part time and I did that for almost 5 yrs.

DID IT!!!! Passed the medical with absolute ease and completed my PCV application with the bus company and are sending it to DVLA so I should be getting my provisional PCV licence through in around 2 weeks. Once that arrives I have to call the bus company manager and get my start date. It felt so good going in to the dole office this Monday to say I have a job lined up. New home, new job, and Tim cutting a swathe through the shite squad we have had for years by bringing in some decent quality. Life is looking up at long last.
