He was excellent, one of very few positives from the game. We finally look like we've found our strongest defence, and Fernandez not even on the bench at last. Big wake up call for him, long overdue.

He was very vocal in his debut and for a youngster. Read the game well too but will come up against much tougher opposition. Not really tested at set pieces yet either but early signs are good.
