Hahaha I have to admit I did enjoy that photo of him doing the rounds when Sunderland scored that last minute winner!

I'm not a lampard fan either, not Grimes after the way he ditched us and made big moves to get out. Stuff him.

I see his Mrs has kicked off on social media too.

Good to see trundle back on to say he wasn't pushed out. Williams loved him for a start. He was by far the highest earner and captain.

Yes, was happy to see Coventry lose too.

I don't know why mothers / partners get involved. It maybe tempting but she's made it worse for him now.

What were the circumstances of him going then?
 
Grimes left us in the lurch at the end of the transfer window.
Luckily the last minute O’Brien loan deal worked out a treat.
No sympathy at all for Grimes.

His mrs seems to make out that there's the real truth that people don't know about regards to what was going on at the club. Not sure if shes saying it but others claiming he was pushed out which trundle has denied on twitter.

i'm glad to see the back of him myself so couldn't care less really what went on, he wanted to jump a sinking ship and was adamant he was going to coventry for more money and kicked up a big fuss about it. Jog on!

I can't really see who would / could logically force him out. Williams / Coleman were either gone or in the process of going themselves.

Sheehan was teacher's pet mind. That's the accusation reading between the lines on twitter anyway. Grimes wasn't liked by certain people down there, had too much power and influence on decisions. Glad he's gone.

Yes I was never a huge fan of Grimes, but we were lucky to have such a great short term replacement who more than made up for any loss
