Night and day when you have midfielders who can receive it on the half turn and run forward and play progressively.

That was absolutely superb. We looked LEVELS above them.

Welsh, Just, Opoku, Walta, Stamenic, Woodward all looked so silky on the ball.

Does pose the question what is the plan with players like Widell/Walta/Inoussa/Burgess who were all brought in only a year ago.

I don't think we are playing with two 6s, Walta probably starts as an 8. If we do then he plays as a 10 and we get Just and Opoku drifting across the 3

we usually play a single pivot, with 2 8s or 1 of the 8's is further forward like a wide 10

I think if you gave Matos a fully fit squad with no injuries this would be the 11 he would choose tommorow imo.

He's been on the record about wanting a tall/atheltic midfielder in there which i Imagine will be used to rotate with Franco.

Thats my interpretation of it so far from what we've seen last season, in pre season and what hes being saying so far.

As for the rotation of our midfielder he sees in my personal opinion.
