Match Thread: VFL Bochum vs Swansea City (5pm KO)

We shouldn’t worry about a preseason game. I know we had a bad one last summer and it carried over but there’s no way of telling that the same will happen under Matos. We lost in preseason while still in the PL and managed okay. Bristol City drew with Newport earlier today, it happens. I’m glad we looked a bit leggy because it means we’re being worked hard and we should be up to standard by the start of the season.

It's pre season, really important we don't look into how we performed as a team.

However, Widdel yet again looked really poor. He should be in the same camp as Ronald. Other than running around a bit, it's not clear what he offers. Not creative, not strong, poor passer, average dribbler.
