MATCH THREAD v Newcastle 12-30 kick off 13/4 away

From what I can tell, Newcastle have 13 injuries including Trips, Livramento, Pope, Wilson, Botman, Joelinton. Saying that, they are quite used to this injury list over the last month or so. They beat Fulham away last week with all these players missing.

Villa are away to Arsenal, so we have to be on top form for this one. I'm guessing if we win it, it will be another 2nd half show.

Normally I would consider a draw up there as being an OK result. Given the number of points we have tossed away against weaker opposition though, and with a run of games against better teams coming up, we really do need to win this one. I'll be delighted if we pull it off, but this match has all the makings of a high scoring draw.

Have put us down for a narrow win, but I'm not going to be able to watch, listen or follow it due to family stuff. Hopefully by the time I find out the score and what happened, I will be reading a load of positives and not Ffs when will we learn etc..

Ange gets fed up with the repetitive media. Don't blame him at all.
It amazes me that the media keep asking the same questions and keep getting the same responses. What do they expect. They must be as bored as Ange. Surely someone could think of something different and interesting to ask .... it doesn't even have to be about football!

Get the pressmen to ask im "ows it anging mate" think the response would be hilarious. COYS

I would show last year's game to the players before this game. The media are showing it to me FFS! AND it's having the desired effect.
