Respective records 2020-21:

Mansfield: P6 W0 D2 L4 F4 A13

Lincoln: P8 W7 D0 L1 F19 A12

** Harry Anderson needs 2 goals to reach 30 for the club.

** Lewis Montsma needs 1 goal to become Lincoln's highest scoring Dutch player in a season. Gijsbert Bos scored 5 in each of his two seasons with the club (1995-96 and 1996-97).

** Not many imminent milestones with a new squad!

Soule signing is really helpful if I've interpreted the competition rules correctly. If he's a 'standard loan' from a Cat. 1 academy then he qualifies as one of the four necessary qualifying starting players.

I'm not saying he will start but if MA is struggling with accommodating injuries and fatigue that has just improved his jiggle factor by 25%.

We will have to shuffle things around at the back. I thought Walsh was available after his compassionate leave? If so I would play him alongside TJ or Montsma along with Bradley and Roughan.

Apparently, Walsh is still two weeks from fitness.

My fear is they will start with a bank of 4 and a bank of 5 and not try and play against us unlike bradford et al. So we will need to adapt our "let them have the ball then counter" style to a more gritty grind out a goal type game. This could be harder than we think.

Alternatively they might decide to give it a go and get ripped a new one by the passing and pace in our team

My fear is that they will kick us off the park like the time before last in the cup at SB.

So basically we are starting no-one defensively that has been playing in their regular positions in the league games tonight.
