Match Thread: Lincoln City v Swindon Town

I agree Brendan Bradley it can work both ways. As above, it's all very hard to quantify, but qualitatively we know that on a good day when the Bank is rocking, it can drag a poor performance over the line. The shame is none of these players have experienced it yet in a City shirt excepting old man 'H'.
Having said that we have managed to come back a few times this season without a crowd baying on!

Two points though. It's not just about size there's also the level of vociferocity (new word?) , which is pretty hard to quantify. Secondly, the effect is probably greater for well supported clubs below the Premier league , like us.
I think it's vociferousness. I'm sure @Impalex will be able to confirm.

Either will do:

"vociferous

1. characterized by vehemence, clamour, or noisiness: vociferous protests.
2. making an outcry or loud noises; clamorous: a vociferous mob.

Scully, Grant, Edun and Hopper as well.

Probably a handful who've been opposition players - Poole, Jones, Walsh, McGrandles.
