Swindon Town (h): Three Things The Imps Need To Do To Win:

One Swindon Town Supporter Talks To Vital Lincoln City (Who Are Ya?):

"Dinosaur. Seemingly no tactical nous, zero motivation, bit of a bully, he doesn't trust any player with a modicum of talent and the sooner he's gone the better."

Michael Appleton: "They'll come to the stadium full of energy and excitement really, on the back of a good result.":

Big game without the glamour of the recent fixtures but just as important. A real test for the stretched squad.

I said an early goal v Wigan was key and that turned out to be wrong. I think it’s even more important as Swindon will pack men behind the ball, even more so if the game is tied and goes deep.

Getting the ball to feet on the half turn Johnson and Rogers is so important to our counters. Hope we can do that more here.

Expecting to see Sanders start, hope he plays in the 6 role letting the other mids break.

Just wondering who is going to be the skipper if Grant does not make it?
Most of our senior players are not available.
What do people think? Hopper maybe, or Edun?

I would have thought most players are capable of calling heads or tails.

Good teams have plenty of players that want to lead the way, poor teams have plenty of followers.

Always find it strange goalies being captain, but Palmer might be good. Hopefully Grant is playing though.

It's home form that will see us win or miss out on promotion. Tonight would be a good place to start with a solid home run in.

I agree. 4 of our next 6 are at home all against teams in the bottom half. It's an important period for us - but then aren't they all.

I find strikers a strange choice of captain, but don’t mind goalies - not sure why though. I suppose I feel a GK / DEF can see everything ahead of them.

Yes but strikers actually spend more time looking back towards their own goal Waiting for the ball.

Five games at home in the next seven - time to dig in and eek out those home wins starting tonight.
Then three games against mid-table Fleetwood, Crewe, Gillingham plus relegation-threatened Rochdale. If we could reach close to 70 points by then...
