Match Thread: Lincoln City v Hull City

A piece of idiotic defending from Poole has cost us there. I really can't see that any part of his game is good enough for a team at the top end of league one.

As for the game, we deserved a point, but you have to take advantage when you're on top.

I assume the ref is celebrating Hull’s promotion. Did everything he could to get them the win.

2 mins of wasted time in injury time. Honeyman not sent off. Countless shoves on Morton. No bookings for dissent and time wasting. Kick outs at Johnson not punished.

They could have beaten us without him because they’re good enough.

Not that makes any difference but how come nothing gets added on for the time taken over that last free kick

Yeah it feels a bit wanky to complain about but to play exactly 5 mins a bit ridiculous when the ball wasn't in play for a couple of minutes (the FK, Coyle holding on to it, the keeper throwing it away before and then spending a load of time remonstrating about his own mistake)

No way we deserved to lose that, but we'll be disappointed with the amount of chances we created given how much we had of the ball. Really foolish challenge from Poole to gift them the points.

Definitely a point dropped. Just hopenit doesn't cost us.

On the upside, we played pretty well for the most part without being at our best. Grant looked better as the game went on and good to get minutes into Bridcutt and Hopper.

Disappointing result but a good performance. Looks good for the next 4 games and play offs. Results elsewhere showed other teams near us are suffering a dip in form. Good to see our injured players back.

The ref was utter shite, but didn't really affect the score.

we gave that away. There was no reason for Poole to put in the challenge like he did. Will put it down to lack of experience. But we played well against a good team. Certainly deserved a point. Good games for Grant and McGrandles. I thought when Bridcutt and Jones came on, our midfield was weakened, but understand it was the rest of the season in mind, and getting Bridcutt fit. Bramhall looked good when he came on. Never mind
