Big game this. To get to the 50 point mark after only 24 games would be a huge achievement.
They've got 2 games in hand so a draw would keep that gap and wouldn't be a bad result after Tuesday's win.
2 teams who will be top 6 come May

They're in form and have been since start of season. Only reason they aren't top 2 is because they've played less games, otherwise this would be a battle between 1st and 2nd.

A win would be unbelievable! A draw would be almost as good.

Yet another biggest game of the season. A six pointer in every sense. Donny are playing some great football and have the ability to score from so many positions. A win would be a huge statement for us and will give us a vital cushion from their games in hand. Looking forward to what should be a very entertaining game. How good would this have been with a full house at the Bank. 😫

Really excited for this one, the two best teams in the League and comparatively local. The atmosphere at the LNER would have been electric. Come on City, 3 points for the taking.
I'd imagine every ground in the country will be electric by the time we get to attend live games. Well, most grounds. I can think of one coastal ground that will be a little subdued.

Not wanting to worry, but am. Looked out of the window and there are some very light flakes of snow in the air. Looking at the weather radar, there’s a lot of wet stuff just south of us around the Grantham area. 🤞all stays okay.

Today is definitely one of those days when I REALLY miss going to the game. The ground and pre-match around would have been buzzing .
I suppose on the flip side I wouldn’t have been able to have got to Portsmouth midweek so wouldn’t have been able to watch that.
Hopefully good virtual crowd today (notice we’ve stopped publishing viewing figures)

Yeah, this would have been a tense and exciting game for the fans. Donny vying with us for best team in this league. As with Tuesday we need to be on our game from the whistle.

My mood has changed somewhat after the Peterborough and Portsmouth games. Before those games the 'Lincoln haven't beaten a top six' taunt nagged at the back of my ear. It doesn't any more. I think we have shown, not only that we are just as good as any other team in this league, but also that we can continue to pick up the points that we have against the rest of the league, even in difficult circumstances (Wimbledon & Northampton) where our competition have struggled to do the same.

The big two for us now are Donny and Dull and I think they are both exciting games, not to be feared, but to be revelled in.

After that, the one little niggle is beating Sunderland before we leave them behind to languish in the pub team league.

A game where Danny’s old line applies more than ever.

“We don’t get too high when we win. We don’t get too low when we lose.”

Regardless of what happens against one of the top teams in the division we’re in a great position.

Donny have a lot of talent. We’ll need to stop Taylor Richards who has seamlessly filled Whiteman’s position, he’s a fantastic footballer who will play at a much higher level. Could be Hopper dropping in or Grant hovering on him defensively whilst in a 10 offensively.

Rained all night in London so if it's heading northwards Lincoln will get a soaking.

The forecast is basically for the rain to just about reach Lincoln now (there are a few spits in the city) and then slip southwards again. We might get a couple of showers blowing in from the East but nothing much.

Sincerely Michael Fish.

There would be an amazing atmosphere at Sincil Bank today. A draw would be fine, as the six point gap would be maintained. A win would be amazing. It would send a huge message out to the rest of the league and wider footballing world that we have a pretty good pub team in this rural, footballing backwater. Can't wait for the game. We also owe Donny a result after the last two games at the Keepmoat. We were very unlucky in both. UTI
