Woohoo! I'm first to post on a match thread.Well, okay, second.
Can't wait for this one, because I'll be there - setting off in a few hours.
The weather can be a great leveller so anything can happen today. I just hope we have enough to overcome Crewe. Same effort as the first half against Tranmere with a little luck/accuracy and we should be fine.
CMON U IMPS !!

Chucking it down in God's city right now, although it's meant to ease off this afternoon.
Flipping hope so ?

It feels like a big game today even though we're not playing a promtion or local rival.

1. We need to get back on track following Tuesdays disappointment
2. We owe Crewe one (or four)
3. Sincil Bank needs to be a fortress
4. We need to keep winning to stay top

All obvious points but all important.

Come on you Imps.

I know what you mean. I'd add that Danny (and Harry in his interview) have both been very bullish about today - almost 'what we are going to do' rather than 'what we want to do'. It feels very unDanny like - normally he does all he can to take the pressure off.

Ron Harbertson is one of the FPA guests at the game today - one of the oldest surviving City players at 88.

Harbertson's claim to Lincoln City fame was that he scored in all six games of the 1957-58 great escape after joining from Darlington in mid-March. He also scored in the first two games of 1958-59, giving him a run of eight successive scoring games. By contrast, he actually lost his first five games for the club.

Phil Hubbard is the other guest. He didn't do too badly either, one of only two players to make more than 100 appearances for the club in two separate spells.
