Sounds tight for Grant to be back this season if he doesn't need an operation. Definitely out for the season if he does. seeing a specialist Monday/Tuesday.

It didn’t sound very good to me, along with the fact he is still wearing a boot. The fact he is seeing a specialist is worrying. I hope it is just me being a pessimist.

Yes, a good result. The style is exciting and based on pace and we have plenty of that. Hull at top have a number of teams with games in hand who could pass them, and keeps us in a strong position for the top two.

and keeps us in a strong position for the top two.

Who would have expected a comment like that at the start of the season?...not me, for one

The midfield were tremendous for me today - biting into the tackle, Never stopped running and working hard. We just can't play Johnson in midfield. It means we get overrun at times, and we miss his influence up front.

Incredible pass from Tom Hopper, and outstanding performances for me from Edun, McGrandles, and Poole.

It looks as though Grant may not play again this season, so its really down to Tayo to step up to the plate until Bridcutt is fit. On today's display, he can do it.

Injured in the warm-up. Appleton didn't say in what way or how badly.
He indicated at the end of his interview that no-one who's currently injured will be back before the Rochdale game so I'm half guessing he's tweaked his injury again?

with how we played today, it might not be such a bad thing. If we can manage to bring a few injured players back late March we may have a strong finish to the season.

I would love to have Bridcutt and Anderson available for Sunderland, but we will need to wait and see.

If we can make it 2-0 fairly early on we should go on to win the game.

Well, my game plan worked for once. That was more like it today, and as Michael Appleton said, we controlled the game.

Well worth the 3-0 win, although we rode our luck slightly when they hit the post, but that was followed up by a points-saving save by Palmer which is something he's not been managing recently. He looked very solid today.

Morton looked lively, Jones did a lot better than recently and you couldn't fault Montsma, with Jackson having his usual sort of game.

Apart from one foolish moment it was easily Bramall's best game so far, and while I'd hesitate to say he's better going forward than Edun in that position he's certainly quicker. Not that Edun is slow, and I think it was his best game in midfield for us, playing the Bridcutt role to perfection - even giving away the statutory free kick on the edge of the box.

As for McGrandles, you could almost make out a case for him being the best finisher at the club.

After that performance I’m hoping an unchanged 11 for Tuesday. Let’s rest a lot of players who are obviously knackered, perhaps we have got strength in depth?
