3 Things We Need To Do To Beat Colchester United:

What 3 things do we need to do to beat Colchester United at Sincil Bank today?

According to Sky Sports news, Rowe is still out with an ankle injury. I've got relatives in Colchester, and so a fixture I look out for. I don't think we've played Colchester that many times over the last 40 years or so, we always seemed to be in different divisions.

Not an easy game by any means, but hopefully we will prevail setting things up for the Tues night showdown with Cov. UTI !

Whilst the Mansfield result today obviously cannot be known I do feel this is the first match this season that verges on a must win for us.

With Coventry winning last night and with both County and Mansfield having winnable home games this is a must win game especially with two tough away games to follow.

Yes, although we are capable of wining one of the next two away games, today's a 'must win' in my book.

Defeat is unthinkable.

Well, it isn't, but a win would be mighty fine.

Like UnbelieveableJeff, I have a nagging feeling that we might just draw our way to 8th position in these last few games.

Seem to write this every week.

Ollie Palmer needs 1 goal to reach double figures for the season.

Matt Rhead needs 2 goals to reach double figures for the third season in a row, which hasn't been done since Simon Yeo. Rhead hasn't scored in 15 games.

Today will be the 25th successive home league attendance over 7,000. That represents the best run of attendances since the Second Division days when 44 successive games topped 7,000 between 30 November 1957 and 12 December 1959.

It is also the 28th successive home league gate over 6,000; and the 32nd successive over 5,000.

If every game this season reaches 7,000, it will be the first time that has happened since 1958-59. It would be only the tenth time in the club's history that has been achieved, the other nine seasons all coming during the post-war football attendance boom (1947-48, 1948-49, 1949-50, 1951-52, 1952-53, 1953-54, 1955-56, 1956-57, 1958-59).

Its definitely going to happen

That's incredible.
