I know the prediction thread is very bullish but the rest of the world seem to have this down as a home banker too.

My brother in law is in a last man standing competition (no Lincoln affiliations) and out of 64 entrants Lincoln and Man City are the joint top pick with 18 each. We have some extra fans today I guess.

League 2 isn't the premier league though and whilst I'm confident I can never be that confident.

Come on you Imps!!!!!

Busy time here - MOT on car this morning.

Gig at the Sage, Gateshead tonight - Hawkwind with an orchestra.

Taking photos at a friend's wedding in Edinburgh tomorrow. With Hawkwind playing at that too.... (!)

Then to Chapel St Leonards on Monday (until Friday) to meet up with the rest of the Toyne clan for our mum's 80th...

And back to school the following week for a rest...

By most accounts Cambridge are playing well and not getting the results they deserve. We need to be at our best.

They probably should be scoring more goals but have the joint worst defence in the league. Hopefully we can keep them out and take advantage of the latter.

This game is the biggest banana skin i’ve seen for a while.

Us top of the table, off the back of a fantastic win, at home and playing as well as ever

Them, taking shots for days, low in the league, sounds quite unlucky not to have gotten results.

On our day, we’ll win. If we’re arrogant, we could get stuffed today.

Agree with the posts regarding tough game, for me the big thing is the four big injuries, Frecklington,O’Connor, Shackell and Akinde. If we concede first obviously our bench will be a lot weaker options.

Can only assume Wilson will come in at CB and Bossie move into midfield with Pett, personally I would rather Green start down the centre up front than Rhead.

I would rip your arm off for a 1-0 and no more injuries or suspensions now.

I agree their stats on goal chances etc are far better than their results. The betting odds are longer today for a win than they were against Crewe, so we must avoid complacency.

Agree with others that Cambridge should be a cert win, but starnger things have happened and lets not take anything for granted. Do the business first, then say we knew it would go,our way. I'm sure DC will not be taking anything for granted, I just hope the team he puts out has the right attitude. UTI. If we can get the right results today and against Carlisle, then we have a bit of a cushion in case things go wrong at Colchester.
