Match Thread: Lincoln City v Bury

Well 3 hard earned points there. Perhaps a few things for the Cowleys to ponder over starting formations and players but to win when you're not at your best is a sign of a good team

So, two wins vs relegated but fancied sides, one win against one of last season's contenders and a draw in an away derby.....

it may not have been easy or pretty but w are second with 10 points from 12...

a work in progress?

Yes.

but heed the final word.

Progress.

come on you Imps......!!!!!!

When was the last time a City player scored a penalty in three successive games? Has it ever happened?

Well, thats another game we've got a result from when we have been far from convincing. Second half was much better once the substitutions kicked in and we pressed a bit more, but once again a ref's decision has helped us. Must admit, the decisions we've been getting this season make up for the dross we've had from refs the last year or two. Reckon DC will be getting a clearer idea about the team, but injuries starting to take effect. No doubt Tom Pett MoM - he got on the ball so much and drove us forward. Probably pulled us throug almost single-handedly if that's possible. Onward & upward.

Twenty minutes to go could not see us scoring never mind winning but we just keep battling on.

I am not sure if all this chopping and changing every week is doing us any good prefer it if we stuck to a system.
