According to BBC sport their player was sent off for "berating the ref" not a career threatening tackle then?

My daughter has a 100pct win record and she was coming today. She's not now. The boys will have to do this one without their lucky charm. I think they will. The extended rest came at a good time for us I think.

Changed her mind and came today - lost her 100pct record which is kind of a relief but still unbeaten.

On the pish poor ref subject. He also missed a clear handball penalty in the second half! How we didn't get the one where the defender forearm smashed Rhead in the back of the neck is an absolute mystery.
The ref had no idea or control of the game. He is the reason the game got nasty. Look forward to the ratings!
 
He got worse once he had spoken to Rhead, he seemed determined to gives us very little after that.

Read on Banter he's being rested and allowed to spend time with family in Ireland. I wish our squad was so big to allow that. Fair enough but he should have been on the bench.
 
Thought it was brilliant when all the kids sat around us in Poachers Corner started chanting 'PENALTY' 'PENALTY' 'PENALTY' after the blatant shove on Rhead in the second half.

Blame Dean Wallng for that. It is his info that is used for the text commentary and he would have relayed the sending off as that. That feed is then used by the BBC.

According to the stats, in contradiction to the match report, the LCFC OS, after the Barrow yellow cards, has Everington listed as SENT OFF.

Barrow's first goal was down to some very poor defending.

Offside???? The female assistant referee struggled to keep up with play the whole game, sure she missed us being offside in the first half a few times.

Bit blinkered, doesn't look to make any contact with the ball and about on the line of the box so a fair call on the penalty. Question to whether he was offside though, if not Waterfall and Howe need a good bollocking.

In the first half at least looked at the ref before flagging every time.

Their player was definitely in an offside position before the ball was played but was he at the point of delivery? difficult to say from the replay.
