"We are fortunate to have a manager who is capable of managing within his budget." (Who Are Ya?):

"We can sustain ourselves as a club more from polishing rough diamonds and selling them on for a profit, than fleecing fans for tickets, pies and pints (£1 a pint if we win and £2 from 12 until 6 on matchdays!) We are fortunate to have a manager who is capable of managing within his budget."

It has been quite busy on the forum this morning, so this got lost down the page!

Will Harry Anderson today become the first player in the club's history to appear in three different tiers in an upwards direction?

As for upcoming milestones, Lee Frecklington needs 9 more appearances to reach 200 for City; he would be the 59th player to do so.

An indication of how quickly the squad has been renewed is the fact that only Harry Anderson (131), Michael Bostwick (104) and Neal Eardley (101) have made a hundred appearances for the club (plus Frecklington, although only 50 have come in his second spell).

Matt Rhead still needs one more...oh, hang on...

Pretty impressive that Anderson has that many appearances for us at his age. If he sticks around going to have played an awful lot of games

Full of anticipation, and trepidation hoping that Ifollow fires up. I bet the Bank will be pumping, here’s hoping Walker get a debut goal off the bench! COYI!

Epic fail this morning, bought a car in Surrey but two accidents on M25 meant gridlock and mean I won't make it to Sincil Bank much before half time. Cutting losses, and it's back home and iFollow for me.

Cannot believe I will miss the first game of what should be a very exciting season.:(

Will O'Connor or Pett make it? Payne impressed me in the friendlies now for the real thing, can't wait!
Back at the level where I first watched back in March 1982 as a 9 year old and I get my daughter to a third tier game, never thought it would happen when I first took in July 2014!
What a 3 years we've had!

Paid my 6 euros to watch this one here in France, would love to be watching the first game at Sincil Bank - come on City!!

So with the exhange rate its cheaper
it's cheaper than last season.

By the way anywhere in lincoln have Dominican republic currency?

Horrific journey to have to make at the best of times. Hard lines.

Hope the car is nice, by the way.
