Q&A With One Accrington Stanley Supporter:

"They have changed since the beginning of the season when I had them challenging for a play-off spot. That has changed to hoping for a mid-table finish."

Accrington Stanley (h): Today's Team News:

Team news will be provided on the link below once we have it.

Setting off pretty early (well 8ish) and venturing into the storm for the match. Going to be very blowy which might affect the game. Will it be another 4-3 as a consequence (hopefully to us)

Well my plans haven't lasted long. Snowed in where I am. Just about managed to get the lad into work but have had to leave the car about a mile away down the hill as the road is blocked.

Radio was saying that the M62 was snowbound as well. Can Accrington make the game?

Ditto, looks like 2 or 3 inches outside on my bottom of a hill street.
Hopefully it will bang it down with rain in the next couple of hours and clear it!

Tough travelling for anyone Accy way. Better to stay safe than risk it. As usual it’s just very wet at sea level Lincoln 💨🌧

Well I hope the Accy team travelled last night as I had to abandon my attempt to get to Lincoln today from Salford, M62 shut as well as woodhead and snake pass.

Too much has been said about Tuesday over various platforms with the usual messages berating people for daring to call it as it was. Ie absolute excrement.
Decided to keep out of it for a bit, but today’s another match day and we go again weather permitting.
As for this season so far, view has been the same all season, and that is we just have nothing to offer up front, even less with Hoppers injury, and playing the way, and frustratingly, the only way that we do, until we can get the personnel right, we will continue down that frustrating road.
As for Pompey, they weren’t that much better than us, just we were pressed into mistakes and the inevitable happened. Don’t forget we’d been unbeaten in the last four so not all doom.
That said, I am fully behind MAPP and the club in what they are doing. Finance has had a huge say in who we have this season, and no disrespect to the lads who’ve come in, they’re not Morgan, Johnson or Grant. Edun is a huge loss but we have to accept that that is our model and I can see Scully being a prime target in Jan.
January sounds very exciting, and reading between the lines there should be some decent additions, which should hopefully see us comfortably through to the end of the season.
So on to Accy today. As evenly matched as you can get with us having a better goal difference. An ideal game to banish Tuesdays memories and start another run. UTI👊💥👏

Hope Accrington have made it safely.
Tough for their fans trying to travel today (and then back again in the dark).

Not so bad in and around Lincoln. Windy and some rain on the dog walk but not extreme, and it’s due to improve mid afternoon. Hope Accrington made it, and we are up for winning big time in front of the Chairman.

I think that 4-3 game was our last before the first lockdown 2020 wasn’t it. Similar conditions as it is today. The open terrace behind the goal was closed and the 6 rows of seating in Accy’s main away stand had the gale and the heavy rain straight in our faces and all Imps fans got totally drenched. Christ it was a depressing damp journey home that day, just about dried out as we got back to Lincoln. Hell of an entertaining game though!

Looks like the M62 east bound has just opened up again now. A bit to late for me but at least its open.
