Another cold cold night. Hope those heat lamps and covers have done their stuff on the South Park end of the pitch. Michael Horton tweeted that the covers we have offer protection down to -8 so 🤞.
Bridcutt is going to be a massive miss today and for the next few weeks so expect Jones to start today. Will TJ be rested after his illness with a start for Poole? Think the new lad Max will be on the bench. Looking forward to an aggressive attacking display today against a tough Accy side. UTI 👊💥

Forecast is below freezing all day.

Weather report from Lincoln, whilst I still have snow on lawn, actually no frost this morning on car, pavements etc.

I'm confident this will still be going ahead. If they've had all the precautions in place overnight, there's no reason why it won't. The pitch covers and heaters will be on for as long as they can be and even though its not due to get much over 1 degree in Lincoln, the sun is out and there barely a cloud in the sky.

The real feel at 3pm on BBC weather is -7 though even though it gives the actual temp at around -1 then. Hopefully the covers and any lamps will have done their job but it has been sub zero temperatures for days recently.

I live uphill and this morning was the first for a week with no frost on my car. Also driving home last night at 10pm the weather was a balmy 1* degree.

I hope they have a pile of Shillings for the meter.

With no league game on Tuesday, if we lose against Accrington today, we could drop as low as 5th by the time we have finished the PJ Trophy game. Even if we draw we could still drop to 4th.
