Match Thread - Burton Albion - Away

Well what to make of that? We didn’t play well. Disappointing and poor after recent positivity. Ref another clown.

Imagine watching Burton every week. Time wasting long throws every time in opposition half. Bowyer did a number on us and annoying when a recent former player (who couldn’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo in Tangerine) scores the winner.

Back to the drawing board and we desperately need the likes of Ennis back asap. Bowler a big miss today. Once Morgan is fit sure Evans won’t play.

Rome wasn’t built in a day. Massive game next week.

We are so missing any real firepower. Ravioli is shite (and CJ). We've got to be careful we don't fall too far behind otherwise we're likely to get caught in a relegation scrap...

Thanks Bruce!

(Two minutes off a first goal time for me too Sexy! 😇)

That was hard to watch, maybe it's the 3rd kit that demotivates everyone and confuses players as to who their teammates are? It seems that whatever we learned in the first couple of weeks training under Evo has gone out the window. No high press, no intensity, no retention of the ball, very little desire. The number of times Brown and Evans passed to opposition or nowhere was ridiculous, but nobody else actually performed at more than a 5/10 at best.

Burton's long throw specialist has a missile throw on him and they used it every time they were in our half to get the ball in the box. The normal defensive tactic where you put the ball in to touch was therefore not a respite but just invited extra pressure.

Ref didn't help in the slightest but he can't be blamed for our overall drab performance need to reset and get the basics right again.

Evans needs to be moved on, he offers absolutely nothing after showing promise under Critch when he first arrived.
