Match Thread at Stevanage

Disappointing as we hardly had a shot in anger. Seemed to be going through the motions. Another 1 nil away defeat! 😡

When you see Stevenage likely to get into the POs you realise how shite the league has been this season (and indeed how shite we have been).

Looks like we are going to have to get the last few points at home. But if we play like that then it’s going to be a nervy run in. Let’s hope Posh and Orient are ‘on the beach’.

And WTF has happened to Fletcher? Yes he’s had a good goal scoring season but he has been absolutely dreadful in recent games. That said he hasn’t been the only one.

Very poor today (at least I picked up a few points in Guess the Score) and deserve to be relegated on that performance. Stevenage were certainly nothing special and proves how, given a decent coach, we SHOULD have been faring this season.
We're now in a real battle but I think we'll scrape in. Big changes needed in the summer; not least the coach IMHO.

Back to the usual shite against Stevenage. Bloxham should have played from the off instead of Ennis who is again showing he just can't carry that extra weight and not fit. CJ was in hiding--what is it with him? He was a world beater in the 1st half of the Exeter game as were most of the team, then in the 2nd half the rot set in. Two home and two away games left to pick up a minimum of 4 points, to perhaps be safe. Very depressing.

I’m no Evatt lover but you can’t pin it on just him, Bruce left us a mess and some of the signings have been absolutely abysmal the past few seasons.

Ihiewke on a 3 year deal for starters.

I do agree with concerns about his approach and tactics though, I’m sick of seeing us lose at tinpot away games barely laying a glove with the same old shite wing back system. Why we wouldn’t pay Orient for Wellens I’ll never know.

I thought we were fine after the Exeter game. Now I’m worrying (again)

Roll on the fucking world cup

I'm not looking forward to the Trump World Cup, inpart due to FIFA being so bloody greedy with their ticket pricing policy, --- I do hope that Dave and family really enjoy themselves and return safely to their Nobber post code. I don't think England will be bringing it home either but what's new. The World as us baby boomers knew it, "has gone completely stark raving mad," (words of Tony Hancock of course). UP--THE MIGHTY POOL, THE THREE LIONS and THE SOCCEROOS.

I’d rather it wasn’t in Trump land either to be fair but I’m just looking forward to the spectacle of the World Cup, watching random teams/games and enjoying a break from Blackpool. I don’t really watch much Premier League or Champions League so it’ll be nice to watch something non-Blackpool.

Agree that England won’t be bringing it home either.
