I think it's clear Deano wants to keep Trez/Elmo together, so I doubt you'll see Guilbert starting unless Jota is also starting.
Personally, I would go for Trez on the left in front of Taylor (or Target) and Jota/Guilbert on the right as they were the standout in preseason. I feel they offered a lot on the overlap and can cause a lot of problems when we have the ball.
In terms of Conor vs Douglas, I feel we need to play Dougie as much as possible as quick as possible to get him up to speed, and this is coming from someone who owns and regularly wears a Hourihane shirt. Do I think it's fair that Conor gets the boot, nope, but life ain't fair and it's even less fair when you have the Brazil U23 captain (who is rated by Guardiola and Tite as the next Brazil #6) breathing down your neck.
Really not bothered if we win/lose/draw this match (of course I want 3 points you idiots) so long as fans stay positive and behind the team. The last thing this group needs is for the moaning and groaning to start 10 minutes into the first home match because we've not scored against Bournemouth who some deem to be worse than us.
Bad results in the first couple months of the season don't result in relegation, but fans turning on the team and creating a toxic home environment do.
