Match Thread: AFC Wimbledon v Lincoln City

It was Ollie Palmer’s first goal in League One, it was also his first ever start in League One, his previous 5 appearances for Wimbledon in League One were as a sub. One goal in one league One start, good for you Ollie Palmer. Scored some good goals for us, 2 at Coventry, equaliser at the Stags amongst others.
One winner, two goal celebrations v Exeter is the one which really sticks in my mind.

He was good for us at that time- though if he'd been let go in January that season few would have grumbled, he came good thereafter. Not MA's type of player though.

True but played his part when called upon at the time. We have had a lot worse, most Imps fans will remember his contribution.

Didn’t realise he has never played or scored in L1. He didn’t look out of place or out of his depth. Mind you, he was playing Lincoln, with a point to prove - that’s possibly one reason he started the game instead of being a sub (apart from their injury/Covid omissions). You can just see him pleading with the manager to give him a go against his old club 🤔
