Looking forward to seeing Wimbledon’s new ground. Despite MAPP being absent, the team know the plan and will produce some flowing aggressive football. With the postponements in place this is a great chance to get points in the bag and start to build a gap from the pack.

If this game does go ahead and the rumours of the Wimbledon squad having 3 injuries and 7 Covid cases are true - that’s a very depleted first XI. The odds are forever in our favour.

Quite amazed to wake up to this news, and not really very fair on them .... an early goal like v Northampton and another big win could be on the cards.

That said I just hope all the players and staff get home safe from London without anyone catching the virus.

And Burton have reappointed Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink - right appointment? Only a seven-month spell at Northampton in the last four years.

Dino Maamria as assistant, he has a poor record as a manager.

Respective records:

AFC Wimbledon
P26 W9 D6 L11 F33 A37 (includes one win and one defeat on penalties)

Lincoln

Scorers:

AFC Wimbledon (33)
12: Joe Pigott
6: Ryan Longman
2: Ethan Chislett, Ben Heneghan, Adam Roscrow
1: Dániel Csóka, Nesta Guinness-Walker, Shane McLoughlin, Paul Osew, Luke Reilly, Zach Robinson, Steve Seddon, Terrell Thomas, OG

Lincoln (53)

Looking at that list of scorers, you can see why they are so keen to have Pigott fit again. Having said that, he is sure to be sold this month due to being out of contract in the summer. Will they dare to play their prized (perhaps only) asset, especially when not fully fit?
