It's a lot calmer up here now than the typhoon we played in on our last trip to Accrington.
Still cold and grey though.
CMON U Imps!

Yet another tough looking fixture today, be delighted with a point as Accy isn’t usually a happy hunting ground for us.

Same points per game as us but had quite significantly 'easier' fixtures than us. You can only beat your opposition - but today is a tough test for them as well as us.

Nice to get back to league action. Accy don’t seem to have any injury worries so should be full strength. Hopefully Liam has had no reaction from his comeback and will provide the steady head in the centre. Harry is in the form of his life so will be good to see if he can continue. Bit of wind for Grant to play with today so hopefully he will try his luck. UTI 👊💥

Not won too many at Accrington down the years. I can recall a 2-0(?) win, Friday night maybe? Stallard scored at the back post.

Lost there under Jackson with Kerr sent off.

They've played quite a high risk game the last few years and throw bodies forward to try and score goals.

If todays match is half as good as February's it'll be a cracker. Accy are a good team and one of those in our division I'd be happy to do well in 44 of their games. Looking forward to an entertaining afternoon

With the growing possibility of a viable vaccine coming soon to a surgery near you,
I wonder if football might be advised to pause the season at some point soon and then restart once the vaccine programme has been gone through sufficiently to allow crowds back into grounds?
(With vaccinated fans only being allowed in).

Then clubs could play our games without losing thousands of pounds week in week out.
Also, if the pause was in during the winter period, then we'd get more games in the better weather whilst we catch up from a pause.

I'd be delighted to be proven wrong, but I honestly don't think many of us will get the vaccine until at least 6 months from now. The priority will be key workers and the vulnerable first and that will account for 10 -15 million doses on its own, I imagine.

I was told Bradley Wood is organising a tea-run for those queuing at the Sincil Bank vaccination centre

It will be interesting to see how fitness plays out today. Accrington have played four fewer games than Lincoln, but had a league game on Tuesday plus a long journey.

Well that will be more than enough people to fill Sincil Bank 😀

Inclined to agree. Going to take a month for the vaccine to have the desired results as well i.e. first injection, 3 week wait, second injection and then a further week until it's 'complete'.

I think some fans will be back in before the end of the season, regardless of whether they've had the vaccine.
