Wenger having his traditional moan about referees. Whilst we have had our own beefs with the officials of late I don't think he has got a leg to stand on with his comments about yesterday. First goal was so marginal it has to be benefit of the doubt to the attacker (he wouldn't complain if it was Walcott that benefited) and the second - the general consensus is that Silva was nowhere near close enough to Cech before the ball passed him.

Straw clutching at best and trying the Maureen patented 'deflect the media' method to stop them concentrating on Arsenal's chronic drop off after half time and impending annual implosion of form.

I think this is plastered all over the back pages today.

A good or a bad thing for us?

Just had a look at Vardy's red there, quite similar to Kompany's on Nani a few years back, we were told that was th right decision after appeal so it'll be interesting to see the outcome on this one.

It was Nani. Yes. They need consistency here. Just grated on me the level of sympathy that he was getting. He definitely went aerial.

I see Sean Dyche was upset about a late, high tackle from Sissoko yesterday for which the lad only got a yellow. That he subsequently set up Spud's winning goal was particularly galling I think. Be interested to see how it compares to Agüero's challenge in Luiz.
