Well, if you wanted a contrast between the two clubs and two players you couldn't have asked for a better example than what was witnessed yesterday at Stamford Bridge.
By prior arrangement, at the request of John Terry and with the knowledge and collusion of his manager, David Moyes and Chelsea's opponents the ball was kicked out of play by the Sunderland keeper (they inconveniently had possession at the time) in the 26th minute. This allowed John Terry to be substituted at a time matched to his shirt number ( :024: ) and facilitate his departure from the pitch to a guard of 'honour' and be hailed as a hero and all round decent guy. This 'shining knight' and 'beacon of decency' was afforded the most staged departure in the history of the Premier League.
Contrast this with the way in which Pablo Zabaleta's departure from Manchester City was handled last week and the difference could not be starker.
Apart from the fact that Zaba would have had to leave the pitch before he had even warmed up (given the shirt number of 5 that he wore) it certainly wouldn't have been palatable to watch the collusion involved in orchestrating such an event.
Basically it was fixed. Organised, arranged and planned. Everyone has admitted they knew and that they colluded in this staged event which raises a very big question regarding integrity but not one, it seems, that either the FA nor the PL are bothered about as they do not plan to do anything about it.
All a bit tacky IMO
