Match Day Thread: The Mighty Blades v Hull City

Vital Reserves Team
So after the fantastic result AND performance at Blackburn on Wednesday, we welcome Hull City to BDBL. Other results permitting, an excellent chance to be in the top 2 come the international break. Still early days in the season, but there are 20 odd teams who would love to be in our position right now.....

So....

Any team news? :)

Unchanged from the midweek game?

Surely that line-up can manage another game with the break coming up?

Or a mild shuffle of the pack?

There was a time that games such as this would be viewed with trepidation by Blades fans, and while nothing can be taken for granted, under Wilder that fear is subsiding. Really looking forward to todays game, and while always will be nervous initially, I really think we could be winning today with some swagger, and at the very least catching up some of the goal difference on those above. An early goal for us today would really put them on the back foot, on our way to a 4-0 victory. Confident yes, carried away maybe, let's see at 5pm today.

Enjoy the game whatever the result, and definitely likely to see Coutts again at some point this afternoon....

This group of players should fear no one.
Thats not to say they should be cocky or over confident or even think they have won before a balls even been kicked, obviously they still have to play to the best of their ability - all im saying is that on their day, when it all comes together, they are a match for anyone.

Make hay while the sun is shining  so the saying goes, even tho its pissin it down.

Build on the two great away wins

Credit CW for going unchanged but we looked knackered second half. Madkins came to frustrate and got what he deserved. Scruffy 1-0 win clean sheet again and 3 points could have been better but as CW says the crowd got them over the line. We move on.

I thought for the 20mins we looked very good and shudda scored a couple of times.2nd half i thought Hull wer alot better and had a definate threat when they brought Dicko on,i've liked him for ages and i wunt mind him signin for us in January.I was suprised when they took Irvine off,i thought he played well. What a gr8 save by Hendo after COUTTSY gave the ball away, not a gr8 performance but very good result.it was a defo pen in my view.UTCB
