So after the strong performance last week lifting us back to the top of the table, it's the relatively short trip to Nottingham to face Forest. A very difficult game in prospect but their fans don't sound all that optimistic....

Anyway

Any team news? :)

Apart from replacing Basham same lineup as last week?

Hopefully McGoldrick only needed for part of the game bearing in mind his 4 bookings?

Is Duffy fit.

Will Egan be brought back yet?

Forest obviously had a tough mid-week game, but as they made 10 changes for that it really won't be an issue for the players but the crowd could get restless if things don't seem to be going their way. Anyway fingers crossed, and ill stick my neck out for a 2-1 Blades victory. Reckon a draw is quite likely though.

Safe journey all. Be loud, be proud.

Heard last night that the top game in the Championship today is Frank Lampard's 11 v Brum ..........expect the usual minimal coverage then.

All good - think we can squeeze something out of this one to keep us at the top - even if nobody has noticed we are there :nerner:

Ps - there's a cracking interview with CW in the Times today - love him even more now I've read it

We have not scored more than 1 goal at Forest for a long time,in la lge.

Will owt change today :hmmm:

Most exciting game ive seen at Forest was in 1971 we won 3-2,on the 4th Sept.

yeah was at that one chip was it dearden 2 and tc for us ? we always used to take 5k there on that big terrace down one side

I remember John Gannon smashin a r8footed screamin volley, also the never to be forgotten last game of BRIAN CLOUGH in charge.UTCB

Plays 3 deep lying midfielders and same result again we lost. Can't add anymore because its happened so many times. Why didn't Goldie start in the No. 10 position like last week. No need to change from 3-1-4-2 but we did and Norwood and Fleck were ineffective without an out ball.

We are beating ourselves with our tactical changes. Lets play our best formation and go for it and stop worrying about the opposition. Lessons not being learn't.

showing the "better" teams in the division too much respect....again. Too many points being lost to them.

Also shows our lack of quality in depth when Plan A is not working.
i agree with you on this one bfl same as the game at derby were just short of a forward who can create and score a goal on their own in tight games like these wonder if goldie was held back today bearing in mind he was on 4 yellows for next fridays game really think january is gonna be pivotal in determining if we can finish in top 6 but the way our 2 owners are performing im not optimistic

Wilder's summing up is spot on,we have to be playing magnificently to get anything out of games, when we are average we get naff all.

We dont know how to grind a result.

What he means is we have to have Duffy on form or at least in the side ,top priority is not a striker in jan, they are scoring it’s someone to create for them when duff isn’t there
