Match Day Thread: Blackburn v The Mighty Blades

Vital Reserves Team
So back in away action again with the relatively short trip to Blackburn. An extremely tough place to go to get three points though much of Blackburn's home run was made in league 1. They've however only lost once in the league so far this season so bring it on....

So...

Any team news? :)

Wilder likely to make changes?

Perhaps Saturday is the more winnable game?

Can't we just win both?

Really asking a lot to go to Blackburn and end their 25 or whatever game it is home run without defeat. However we've done it before and if we can cut the silly errors out we could just do it again. A draw seems most likely and would be a solid result. However I think we'll be error prone again with the goals scored rescuing us in another 3-2 victory :)

As ever safe journey all

I think they'll be a couple of changes but not as many as the Brum game.I wunt be suprised to see Leon return. We need to keep Dack quiet and dunt gi too mny free kicks away within strikin distance cos Charlie Mulgrew's not bad wi free kicks.2-2 draw mi thinks.UTCB

Our Chris will mek changes if he think it's r8 to do so.He and his staff have alot more info than any of us on how the lads are feelin,if they're carryin a injury or not.Washington's asked to be left out of Northern Ireland's squad for personal reasons, things happen away from football that we rarely hear abart.I've said many times before i'll leave it to TUFTY to mek the decisions, after all HE'S ONE OF OUR OWN.UTCB

I think some fans forget it's a marathon not a sprint Rodders. Look at us after Christmas last season. We need strength in depth to push upwards and there's only one way that will happen.

Too many listen to Brian the Blade. We're now a top half Championship club not Sunday League side.
Brian the Blade said we weren’t doing very well this season on last night’s show. We were a point off top, at the time, I do wonder about him.

How old is he and how many miles on the clock compared to say Duffy, Sharp, McGoldrick? Not think the fitness & conditioning coaches AND Wilder will take this into consideration ?

Same age as John Jonah.

You would give the opposition a BOOST by not playing those three, they would be the first names on the team sheet, and if they need rest bring them off when we are coasting 3-0 up,not other way round.

Looks like Twirls is after the old Jimmy Muir role, late wi the news(Christophers thoughts thread). UTCB

Surprised at no changes but happy. If coaches & Chris are happy then I'm 100% behind them as per.

You mean IF we are coasting 3-0 up and that's showing a bit of disrespect to Blackburn who haven't lost at home in 26 matches. And when we aren't coasting? and Duffy is blowing out of his arris? Tel you what happens then, the terrace wannabe managers pop up and say ' why is he playing Duffy after he had 90 mins on Saturday' why not rest him and play (whoever) that's what he fookin bought him for innit? .

Teams playing well and momentum can take you a long way, sticking with them is the right move for me. Worry about Saturday tomorrow
