Mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik is suing the Norwegian state on human rights grounds. Since his incarceration he has been kept in solitary confinement, prison authorities say this is for both reasons of security (for some strange reason, after killing more than 70 people in the space of a couple of hours, he's considered a dangerous prisoner - hu da thunk it?) and for his own safety, which must surely be at risk given that most of his victims were young and mid teens, and we all know how prisoners take to child killers.

In addition, for reasons of national security (he is known to be in contact will other extreme right wing groups that are of interest to security forces around the world) he has had all letter privileges removed during the past few months.

So what do you reckon? Personally I think he should spend a bit of time considering the human rights of the 77 people he killed in Oslo and on the island of Utøya. Frankly, I have little sympathy for him.

On a side note, just to check my figures I typed his name into Google and was appalled to find that the 6th most popular search for his name is Anders Behring Breivik hero. There are actually people out there that consider this scumbag a hero. I'm flabbergasted!

He has no rights in my opinion, he forfeited human rights when he became a subhuman.

Spot on Juan! You have to be human to have human rights............

He gave that up when he carried out his atrocities....

He's doing it to be annoying. He acted like a dick when he was on trial too. Best to be locked up and try to forget about him, the media coverage of him suing the government will only get him publicity and spread his cause - whatever the fuck it is.

Weirdos love the limelight don't they. Builds a cult around them.

I think you made a slight error there Lewis, but it's similar to "cult".
