Martin and Wagstaffe

The problem they may have is a lack of interest at league one level for the sort of money they were likely to have been on .I can't see them topping any list at our level .However once options start becoming more limited then they are both likely to get offers .It is no doubt they have more quality than Hess for example .But they will also want a fair bit more I would guess .

We can’t really guess as to what they’ll be willing to take. Who knows, they may have paid off their mortgages (if they had one) this year, or may be expecting a family addition etc. So many variables.

Interesting that after all the fuss made by some people about the release of Wagstaff and Martin, that both players have ended up at teams that finished below Gills in the league pyramid last season.

Haven’t noticed any fuss personally.

Wasn't overly bothered personally about either of them going(probably both high earners in our pay scheme) but I think Wagstaff could be a really good player at this level, if he can keep himself fit, but that is something sadly he couldn't do for any length of time whilst with us.

Or at Bristol.
