Marriage Allowance
I recently saw an advert on TV for the marriage allowance, my wife works part-time. I thought nothing to lose Ill apply.
Turns out I am able to take £1100 of her un-used tax allowance.
I am eligible for Marriage Allowance in the 2015 to 2016 tax year, I can backdate my claim to 6 April 2015 and reduce the tax paid by up to £90 a month and a rebate of £432.
It took me 2 minutes to complete the form on her behalf. I'm £90 a month better off it was as easy as fuck to do.
