Mark Robins: "Matt Rhead has bullied our two centre-halves"

It is great when opposition Fans and Management moan about Rheads physical play. What it means is we have beaten them and Rhead has caused them massive problems. They neglect to mention the goal he scored and the deft ball he played to create our fourth. He certainly is a better player than he is given credit for but keep criticizing him it means we keep winning. Plus I think he loves the stick he gets and seems to thrive on it.
 
Nasty Lincoln played to their strengths and didn't play like one of the world's richest clubs where he grew up. How dare we not roll over and bow down to their footballing master class.
 
Let's have a list of things opposition managers say about our football after they've been gubbed by us
"Everyone knows their style"
"We all know what to expect from Lincoln"
"Their game plan is well known"
"They are a very direct team"
"They get the ball forward quickly"
"They use Rhead as a target man"

Robins became a manager in 2006 and has yet to win a promotion. He has managed six clubs in that time (Coventry twice) and has only completed four full seasons at any club. His finishing positions at the end of those four full seasons were 9th, 14th, 17th and 17th. His points-per-game rate is 1.42, which equates to a mid-table 65 points over a full 46-game season. Not an inspiring record.
