Mario Balotelli furiously denies selling drugs after Italian mobster accusations

Mario Balotelli has been hitting the headlines yet again this week, when the Italy striker was accused of being a drug dealer by an on-trial mafia member.

The firebrand former Man City man had this week been name-checked by Camorran gangster Armando De Rosa, who claimed that Balotelli had approached him and asked if he could deal some cocaine 'for a joke' during a money laundering trial.

Recent Twitter convert Balotelli responded furiously on the social network, tweeting that: 'Unless you apologise you will sweat tears of my mother.' The tweet has since been deleted.

The accusations came up following Italy's win over San Marino on Friday night, where the striker again denied any involvement, saying: "It's false. I hate drugs."

Referring to the AC Milan's infamous t-shirt celebration, he was then asked 'Why always you?', to which he shakes his head and says 'I don't know.'

All you Italian speakers can see the interview below, while the rest of us wait for his next headline-making antics.

Don't believe for one minute that Mario is guilty - but it's these kind of headlines that seem to follow him around that must piss of football execs looking for a quiet life!

Very true, fifth. People throw his name around just because they can without repercussions. It's quite sad sometimes.
