The historicity of the Bible is pretty dubious, as it would be for any 1800 year old book that recounts third hand events that had taken place 40-200 years before.

Trouble is, when folk really dont approve of something someone else says, they also dismiss all other points that might be valid. Even the Brexit thing that doesn't really affect me is weird, I mean it really seems that 17mill voted for it for all sorts of reasons, many of them not really related to the type of thing that is happening, but then the story is '17mill wanted this" when the story could just as easily be "16million voted against this and still its forced upon them" which is also probably a record number of protestors in a way. How can a democratic country actually do what clearly at least half of the country doesn't want? It a bit sad really.. There had to be another answer. With my birds eye view it seems that ripples will become waves for a long time to come.

Wow, that boszi chap has some real issues. I'd heard about people like him but have never really encountered them before.
The people who stood up to him on here, I know lots of people like that. It's not about taking sides, it's about common decency and an ability to take a view without stooping to bigotry and hate from which there is often no return.

Im not at all offended by people not believing that the holocaust was a conspiracy. It bothers me about the same amount as moon landings, flat earth and every other "revisionist" idea.
