Marcus Edwards - First Edition

If he's having to be protected from the size and physicality of an underage German team, you'd have to worry about him coming into the senior game soon, especially as early as some fans seem to expect.

I still think we'll either send him out to toughen him up a bit or wrap him in cotton wool and use him very sparingly until we're sure he can deal with the physicality of the PL..

Well done our U-19's just a few mins at the end for Edwards and as we immediately went down to 10 men, he really didn't do much but defend.

Chalobah was the best England player until he got injured. Mason Mount is a very very good player too.

Yep, agree, they both look like they have bright futures ahead of them.

Tottenham Hotspur have loaned Marcus Edwards from Norwich City until the end of the season.

Concerns are rising over Marcus Edwards’ loan spell at Norwich City, after the Tottenham Hotspur youngster was left out once again last night.

Edwards joined Norwich in the January transfer window, but he is yet to make an appearance for Daniel Farke’s side.

The youngster picked up a back injury, which kept him out during the early stages of his loan.

However, he is believed to have been back in full training recently, yet he still did not feature in Norwich’s side last night.

The situation right now is unclear, with Norwich boss Farke yet to confirm the full reason why Edwards has not been in contention.

And both Spurs and Norwich fans are becoming concerned that the move could be a complete flop.

Edwards is regarded as one of Tottenham’s top talents, but his attitude has already been questioned by Farke during his loan spell with Norwich.

If Edwards does not feature at all for Norwich, then worries will grow that he won’t fulfil his potential at Spurs.

Its wise not to write any player off as we have seen with kane. He had some ****e loan spells but has turned himself in to one of the best strikers in the world.

Kane has a never say die attitude, does edwards? Poch and now the norwich manager has questioned his commitment, not a good sign at all.

Openly questioned it. Which is typically a last resort.
