Only have a few Twitter reports to go on, but sounds as though the MUFC vs LFC U21's match last night was marred by the "ever so offended by racist Suarez" rag fans giving racist abuse to a black Liverpool player.

Stay classy rags!

Heavier fines need to be handed down, plus points deduction, for the side fans thatare responsible.

However I am not in Favour of this unless it could be proved conclusively that the fans are identified as that of the punished club.

also I am not in favour of the Referee in abandoning matches, where the fans may use this ploy if they are losing at the time or the match is simply awarded to the team at which the fans are directing the racist chants to, but again it would have to be conclusive evidence.

in respect where the matches involve the rags, its OK, as the are beyond any rules, because they appear to be able to change them at a moments notice.

As always, Buzz.

Rags on Twitter saying that the comment was "You scouse b*****d".

Just throw out Liverpool and the Rags so that we don't have this brought up every time they play! :yup:

Manchester United and Liverpool under-21 match set to be investigated

• Fan ran onto the pitch and flares were lit at match
• FA confirm that they are looking into the event

The Football Association are to look into a number of incidents which occurred at Monday night's Premier League under-21 match between Liverpool and Manchester United.

Late in the second half of the match a fan ran onto the pitch at St Helens' Langtree Park stadium and appeared to direct abuse at the Liverpool striker Adam Morgan before tussling with stewards as he was led away. There were also two instances of flares being set off in the stands, with one being thrown onto the pitch.

The Football Association have confirmed that they are looking into events at the match and are to write to the two clubs involved.

There were also reports of distasteful chants being made by a section of the visiting support but Merseyside Police said no complaints had been made to them and there was no record of any incidents in which they were involved at the fixture.

Fans of the two north-west clubs have a well-documented rivalry at first-team level but this is not the first time a youth team match has been affected.

Almost two years ago at an FA Youth Cup game at Anfield a minority of away supporters sang songs about the Hillsborough and Heysel disasters, a flare was let off, there were three arrests for drunkenness and six United fans were ejected from the ground.

The ' Best Fans' in the English game.....not......perhaps the media and the FA will stop this love fest of all things red either side of the East Lancs.

Funny. I missed this. Guess the rag-loving media didn't fancy making a big thing of it surprise, surprise.

The mentality of these moron's does my head in. Do they also yell this sort of stuff at Welbeck? Or Evra?
