Kane has put several Premier League clubs on alert ahead of the summer window after indicating that he is keen to leave Spurs at the end of the season. United, along with Chelsea and Manchester City, are interested in a deal for the England captain.

And according to The Athletic, United’s ambitions have not been dampened following Tottenham’s response to their approach over the possibility of signing Kane.

The report claims that Tottenham’s firm stance over Kane is viewed as a negotiating tactic and that a deal worth £120 million would be enough to prise the striker away from north London this summer.

It’s also understood that Spurs are actively looking for a replacement for Kane and are telling potential arrivals that a starting spot is up for grabs. If you are off HK, say a big NO! to MU and The Chavs, any admiration I had for you will be gone forever, Pep n MC if you have to go to a Prem side, that would be forgivable.

I really want him to go to City. And sit on the bench.

For a couple of reasons. The most important being that the United fan down the road will be told in no uncertain terms that United is now a second-tier team. Kane knows that.

We either need a shitload of money in return...or a substantial amount and players in return.

Bottom line - If this is going to be a fire sale event...like I think it will be...we will need the funds and replacements coming in.

Our main issue right now is we need the new manager named ASAP so we can hope to attract quality players....
