Pellers for me.

Mancini had his charm etc but the players gave up fighting for him prior to his departure. Oh wait a minute....
 
I was furious about how Mancini was undermined by players who didn't like being told off. Failure to back him financially after we won the league backfired. Mancini took no prisoners. Even Sir Bacon Face remarked how he wished Mancio was gone at a rag awards night. We obliged and brought in a clearly very nice guy. But. Getting ruthless here are some facts:

Pellegrini:
First Season 2.26 points per game.
Second Season 2.07 points per game.
This Season 1.88 this season, last 20 games 1.6.

Top Six haul: 3 points out of 21 so far.

It is a clear decline and all the Pep triumphalism we have seen must be dispensed with rapidly because right now we are on course to not qualify for the Champions League under him.
 
Very worrying stats, Mr. B.
We have to have a huge positive reaction from the team when we play Spurs or it could be curtains for top four, even at this stage.



 
Mancini home record was amazing whereas Manuel's home games are still a nervy affair.. Mancini handled difficult players like Tevez,and Mario ..whereas Pellegrini have a much calmer side and he was given much freedom in the transfer market.
Mancini fought Taggart and won us a great PL snatch from Taggart's hands..
 
Can't decide, Mancini did a brilliant job of changing the mentality at the club but there again we played the best football I've ever seen City play under Manuel.
 
Yet he was abysmal with us in CL whereas Pellegrini has at least made us respectable in Europe.
 
When Bob was in charge we were still the noisy neighbours and not many expected us to do anything and the top clubs dismissed us as the Sheiks plaything.

Under Manuel, we are treated with a bit more respect, curtailed in the spending, a team everyone wants to beat. I think if MP had been able to work with no restrictions on buying then he will have done even better and he is third in the managers league in win percentages even under the FFP
 
Mancini had a first XI that included Hart, Zab, Clichy, VK4, Mr Kipling, Nasri, Merlin, SA16 and Pellers has...exactly the same - except they are older, not necessarily wiser but almost certainly injured from time to time!

Pellers will win the PL/League Cup double for a second time, proving once and for all that he is the bosses' boss!
