City has to win all their games if they stand a chance of overtaking 'The Lucky Dippers' and while team do not exactly roll over for them (they do really) we need to do better than them. Watford is one of those teams that has a candle blowing in the wind. If it is lit they have put it in the parked bus if it is out then City have towed away the bus early. So City has to be clinical in front of goal which for a few matches this season they have been very wasteful.

It is a must win game as the Dippers pour out more excuses, Snow, Wind, White lines too wide, grass too long, Players driving a wedge between the Team and fans, City have better players the list is endless, but at the end of the day, City needs three 3 points.

From Pep’s presser.
Pep Guardiola has confirmed Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne will miss tomorrow's game against Watford with a hamstring injury.
De Bruyne suffered the injury against Bournemouth last week.
Guardiola also said defender John Stones would miss out as well but Aymeric Laporte is ready to return.
Laporte has missed two games since he limped out of the EFL Cup final win against Chelsea a fortnight ago.

I thought so too. Maybe a late fitness test or keeping him back for Tues when Otamendi is suspended

I don't think we will need to win all our remaining games to take the title looking at the Dippers draw record, but this is a must win banker for us, come on City!

Not sure we can rely on Liverpool drawing too many of their games - would be lovely to be four points ahead when they play tomorrow. If they do then draw against Burnley(?) then title is probably ours to lose.

Let’s see if Mahrez, fresh from his ‘score the winning goal in a tight game rather than the fifth in a 5-0 thrashing’, performance can deliver from the off

As expected, the BBC’s matchthread is heavy on comments about FFP.

Zero surprise. They will keep the pot bubbling and continue the campaign to taint the club by a constant dripping tap of comments.
