Manchester City v Southampton - KO-18:00 GMT Wednesday 10th March 2021 -Premier League Match Preview and MDT

Foden should MotM in my opinion. Ceaseless running, fantastic tracking, back making chances and testing the keeper....

None of us expected a comfortable evening and Southampton delivered a very testing performance but good sides FIND A WAY.

The key moment? Mr Whippy securing that two goal cushion on the stroke of halftime. Without that it could have been a completely different second half.

Oily and Hasenhutl seem to have discovered the magic sauce when playing City - VERY high tempo incessant pressing all over the park has really knocked us off our stride, causing a lack of composure and coughing up possession.

Kyle Walker needs to be shown the video of his casual back heal to nowhere on an endless video loop. Awful. The sort of thing you see down the park on a weekend. (When you're allowed to play football down the local park of course)

they have to start that way and get some success from it, but if they failed they will be in big trouble the rags got a penalty, if they had not been given that lead, we would still be on our winning streak, but that is history, Southampton gave it a go and they looked good for it, but then they were always chasing the game once we scored, had Moss not seen the Foden ‘penalty’ VAR would have stopped the game and awarded the penalty, but Pep was right, it is impossible to guess what they will do because not everything is treated with consistency, even the the managers and players don’t have a clue what one week from the next decisions change.
