The helter-skelter nature of this game has continued in a breathless first 15 minutes of the second half which has brought three more goals.
Riyad Mahrez kept up his superb form of late with a sumptuous finish for our fourth goal before the visitors raced up field and narrowed he deficit through Che Adams.
City though look like scoring every time we power forward and De Bruyne’s second of the evening – and our fifth in total – didn’t come as a surprise.

Vital minutes
Neil Leigh at the Etihad:
When you are 5-2 down with time running out and limbs aching, probably the last thing as an opposition side you want to see is a fresh and hungry Sergio Aguero take to the field.
From a City perspective of course, it’s the perfect scenario to try and give Kun more vital minutes as he builds back to full match fitness. Pep Guardiola was in deep conversation with Sergio before he came on, passing on last minute instructions.
If he could find the target it would merely add to the many positives from the night.
