Two CL hat tricks in a row for Aguero.

I thought his hat trick tonight was taken in an "aggressive manner that was excessive in force and brutal". I wonder what Stuart Ripley thought.

The first was a cracking finish. Top drawer stuff.

The growing confidence that Pep is instilling in the players through his belief in them is almost palpable. Someone is going to get a pasting soon & I hope it is this weekend when I'm at the game :026: I am so looking forward to seeing the big picture that the to camera focus on the ball doesn't give.

On Sky's Monday Night Football, they have what they call 'tactical cam' under the red button feature which gives you one wide-angle camera view of the whole pitch as the game is being played. We watch it this way and it's just like being at the game and viewing from the gantry.

Pinch me I must be dreaming. Sat on early shift in my John Stones kagoul grinning. Now I hear of rags trying to cover up dressing room civil war at half time last weekend as a Jose masterplan. Then we hear of the GPC hugging Pep after the derby, Camel Gob praising Kun and The Gyppo slagging Jose over Pep!

Was something to watch and if/when we get our finishing act together, well lookout mama.

I know. It is laughable. They really thought they were in the promised land and Saturday would be their confirmation. Turned out to be an epiphany of another kind with the veil being lifted from some of the deluded rags eyes that perhaps José isn't quite as clever as they thought. Loving it.

Yeah, he's no Rashford though.

As noted before .......there are no passengers in a Guardiola team and even Sergio isn't immune from the high standards demand by the new City coach. Guardiola sets the bar high & I doubt that we would have seen Aguero previously track back so diligently and recover the ball as he did in the first half after conceding possession.

Everyone is on a learning curve.

Guardiola battling to get Aguero and Co to play to his tune
