Which English club, not currently in the Premier League, is a better managerial appointment than that right now?
If you are including clubs that currently have managers, from the perspective of backing and owner stability I would say Fulham and Bournemouth for starters.
 
I'm sure Real Madrid would have something to say about that. Mind your, so would Motherwell probably. And Sunderland, And Grimsby. I should stop now before we get to Dartford.

Must be pretty demoralising to be a WBA fan to witness how unattractive their club is currently. As has been said, thier astonishing hire/fire approach is finally putting managers off.
