AP says he is ''confident'' that we will not be relegated. Not sure if he meant that in terms of us winning at Northampton though. Probably more likely what he meant to say was that he was ''confident'' of a Fleetwood win on Sunday
 
Even the Swine managed to beat Fleetwood away recently, so it's not a sure bet that Vale can't.

Let's hope he won't be at 5PM this coming Sunday. A swift replacement appointment and lots of work in the run up to pre-season to get in the right players (particularly defensively) who will make us strong at the back.
 
Usual pre-game rhetoric which IMHO few
on here believe. This team are more than capable of getting beaten at Northampton ( I suspect by at least 2 goals).
A perfect week-end for me is that we lose but stay up because Port Vale fail to win and Mr Pennock is out of a job by Monday morning.
