Man Utd v NUFC

Complete lack of composure and confidence the minute we took the lead, showed an average manc side way too much respect, no leaders on the pitch. Weak as piss

Down with the xmas decorations we have been very lucky to have got so many points on the board but we are still capable of going on a losing run

Usual suspects criticising us this season despite injuries to key players, especially when we are measurably better off than at the same stage last season.

Baffling !!

So, half the season gone with only Everton to play twice.

Some highlights, Spurs away and ManU at home, some totally abject performances; Norwich, Leicester, Villa, Burnley and today's. Dubravka has saved the day on several occasions.

The strength has been in the inherited organisational defence, the weaknesses apparent up front with more than two goals scored in only one game, against West Ham and still only 2 goals from strikers.

Looking ahead, there are 5 eminently winnable home games to get to the 40 point mark, with a few away games where a point looks achievable.

The problem is that if those winnable games produce another shoddy performance or two, there could well be a few squeaky bums come April.

21st March (subject to TV) could turn out to be critical.

Another season where 40 points/survival is all that’s discussed, it’s all we exist for under Ashley, survival and a full house to promote his other ‘business’. A thoroughly depressing situation.
