It's a good job there was nothing on that game or there might some letters etc going to PGMO. It doesn't matter how many ways you try to justify that refereeing decision you just can't because ultimately he controlled the ball with his arm, did it come of his hip to his arm, it might have, was it accidental possibly but none of it matters because he controlled it with his arm that led to a goal.

It clearly should have been disallowed because Gary Neville said so.

I actually thought we played OK & gave pretty much as good as we got. Taiwo seems to be rejuvenated & we should definitely keep him, but doesn't change the fact that we still need another centre forward.

Even though there was nothing on the game I'm still gutted & angry as no one should have to lose a game like that now we have this wonderful VAR system to correct clear & obvious errors, what a laugh that is
 
Just as well we're already safe.

Hard to see how the ref allows that goal after VAR showed him the clear handball. Leaves a nasty taste.

Absolutely Orbs I think most of us can accept losing a game, it's annoying but that's the life of a football fan. However you can't accept losing a game in these circumstances without it leaving you seething can you

That feeling of the big 6 bias just sticks in the craw , we all know we would never have had that goal stand . May as well do the league on a handicap basis and give the big clubs a +6 point head start.
 
It was the timing as well, just after we'd equalised.

To be fair, Mbuemo should have had a hat trick, but most of their late chances were on the break when we were chasing the game after the shocking decision. If the goal was ruled out we might just have gone on to win, but we'll never know. Ruined the game.
 
Just come back to the tele purely for the reactions to that refereeing decision. I have never in the 60 years I have watched the game been so convinced that corruption is at play. He stands looking at the monitor for about 5 minutes and decides no hand ball?not a decision given in the heat of play which is completely excusable no there are other things quite clearly going on here.
 
If, and it’s a big if, Leeds and Palace lose today we would have been above Palace in 14th heading into the last game of the season

£6m difference there

Agree 100% . Something clearly not right with that . Just had messages off a Utd mate of mine who said it didn't need looking at more than once to see it was clearly handball . Fucking hell it was pretty much wedged against his arm ! Mind boggling.
